What to Expect from Project Eats 2018

One of summer’s biggest festivals is taking place this weekend. We’re talking about Project Eats — a 2-day, outdoor food festival with local food, drinks, and sweets.

Now in its sixth year, Project Eats will once again blanket City Hall Park (Grove between Mercer and Montgomery) with food tents from your favorite local eateries. The festival will run from 11am to 7pm on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24. Extra food will be donated by the Downtown Community Church to St. Lucy’s Shelter.

This year’s festival will be beach-themed, with a DJ, tables, and lounge chairs. (We recommend getting there early if you want to snag a prime spot). In terms of food, you can expect veterans like The Archer, Modcup, and Just Beclaws (their delicious crab fries are pictured above) along with many new faces like Bergen-Lafayette’s Harry’s Daughter and the just-launched Don Curry. You can also expect vegan kombucha floats from Non-Nocere Botanicals. Here’s the full list of new vendors below:
