Celebrate summer’s first weekend with not one, not two, but three food festivals including downtown’s highly anticipated Project Eats. Plus, Yoga Fest Jersey City premiers at the Pedestrian Plaza.

What: Bike JC Night Ride
When: Friday, June 22 at 8:30pm
Where: Grove Path Plaza
Join your fellow Jersey City cyclists on a casual nighttime bike ride through Jersey City. Riders are encouraged to wear lights or adorn their bikes with neon lighting.

What: Yoga Fest Jersey City
When: Saturday, June 23 from 7:30am to 5pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza
Jivamukti Yoga Jersey City and the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) are teaming up to produce the first Yoga Fest Jersey City. The free event will include yoga classes, meditation, and more. Don’t forget your yoga mat, sunscreen, and shades.

When: Saturday, June 23 & Sunday, June 24 from 11am to 7pm
Where: 280 Grove Street at City Hall Plaza
Summer’s first major food fest is finally here. Back for its 5th consecutive summer, this year’s Project Eats festival will be bigger and better than last year. Vendors include local favorites like Frankie, Eemas Cuisine and Talde, as well as new vendors like Bergen-Lafayette’s Harry’s Daughter and Pham Vietnamese Kitchen.

What: Famous Food Market Harborside
When: Saturday, June 23 & Sunday, June 24 from 11am to 7:30pm
Where: Fifteen 2nd Street (next to Lutze Biergarten)
New York’s Famous Food Market is back for its second weekend in Jersey City. The outdoor market will include local eats, craft vendors, live entertainment, a game area, butterfly zoo, and a 21+ beer/wine garden. Vendors include Casa Cubana, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland, No Forks Given, and more.

What: Guinness, Oyster, & Music Festival at the Hutton
When: Saturday, June 23 at 12pm
Where: 225 Hutton Street
What better way to kick off the first weekend of summer than with oysters, beer, and live music. The all-day event includes a line up of local bands, oysters, BBQ, and more.
