Break out the rainbow glitter. The 18th Annual Pride Festival is here and whether you’re attending the parade or just looking for things to do — we’ve rounded up our top picks for this last weekend of August.

What: Summer Shopping Soirée at Corgi Spirits
When: Friday, August 24 at 5pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Shop, eat, and drink at Corgi Spirits’ Summer Shopping Soirée — a pop-up of local, luxury handmade goods that will be on sale at the distillery’s tasting room.

What: Famous Food Market Harborside
When: Saturday, August 25 & Sunday, August 26 from 11am to 7:30pm
Where: Fifteen 2nd Street (next to Lutze Biergarten)
New York’s Famous Food Market is back for another weekend in Jersey City. This weekend, the outdoor market will include Fatty Cakes, Ani Ramen, Casa Cubana, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland, No Forks Given, and more.

What: 18th Annual Jersey City Pride Festival
When: Saturday, August 25 from 1pm to 9pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza
The 18th Annual Jersey City Pride Festival is a celebration of love and individuality. The all-day festival, which stretches from the Pedestrian Plaza to Jersey Avenue, runs from 1pm to 9pm with multiple after-parties at various bars and restaurants throughout the city including Talde and The Pint.

What: Social Dance Party at Jersey City Ballroom
When: Saturday, August 25 from 6pm to 7:30pm
Where: 189 Brunswick (3rd Floor)
Dance your way into the weekend at the Jersey City Ballroom’s Saturday Night Social. Open to beginners, experts, and everyone in between — the evening is an open dance party where you can show off your moves. Admission is $10/pp at the door.

What: Hard Grove 5K Run/Walk 2 Kick Autism
When: Sunday, August 26 at 8:30am (race starts at 10am)
Where: Liberty State Park North Cove Field (1 Audrey Zapp Drive)
Get your running shoes ready. Sunday morning is the 5K Run/Walk 2 Kick Autism — a USATF-certified race to raise funds for Colors of Autism, a Jersey City organization that provides funding for families needing assistance with daily living. Online registration is closed, but you can register on-site for $40/pp. After the race there will be a brunch and cash bar/menu at Hard Grove.

What: Thai American Pop-Up Brunch & Dinner at LITM
When: Sunday, August 26 from 12pm to 10pm
Where: 140 Newark Avenue
If you missed them at last month’s pop-up, Suwanna Food is back at LITM this Sunday serving up a delicious Thai-American brunch (or dinner) from the hours of 12pm to 10pm. There will also be Thai-inspired cocktails to wash down all the goodness.

What: Sade Brunch Party at Frankie
When: Sunday, August 26 from 1pm to 5pm
Where: 264 Grove Street
Enjoy an Australian-inspired brunch while listening to the smooth vocals of British jazz/R&B singer, Sade.

What: Paella Fest at Surf City
When: Ends Sunday, August 26
Where: 11 Marin Boulevard
Forget the tapas. Surf City is celebrating Spain’s national dish — the paella — with a limited-run menu that features 10 different styles of paellas. All of the paella dishes (with the exception of two) are priced at $24.95. Dishes include a Lobster Paella, Chicken Paella, Vegetable Paella, Calamari Paella (pictured), and a Fisherman Paella (topped with flounder/calamari/shrimp).
