Ride-hailing company Lyft is offering residents of 485 Marin 50 percent off their Lyft rides.
The discount is part of a partnership between Lyft and KRE Group, the developer behind 485 Marin.
“We’re thrilled that Lyft is now the official ride-share partner of 485 Marin,” said Jonathan Kushner, President of KRE Group. “This partnership will provide our tenants with ease of access to the reliable, fast and affordable service that Lyft offers, in an effort to improve daily commutes and elevate the residential experience.”
In addition to the discount, 485 Marin will make it easier for Lyft drives and riders to find each other with designated pick-up and drop-off locations.
The Lyft discount will last for six months. After the 6-month period, residents will get credits taking $5 off 3 rides.
Currently, the Lyft perks are available to 485 Marin residents only. However, KRE Group will evaluate the program with the hopes of expanding it to its other Jersey City properties.
Back in 2017, KRE Group partnered with home hospitality app Hello Alfred to provide concierge-like services for residents of Journal Squared. The service was expanded to other KRE properties including 225 Grand and Grove Pointe.
Located in Hamilton Park, 485 Marin opened to renters in September and is now 90 percent leased. The building brings 397 apartments to the area, along with Marin Green — a new public park located adjacent to the building.
