Jersey City Heights is starting Memorial Day weekend on a high note.
Corto has announced that it will soft open Friday night bringing rustic and affordable Italian food to 507 Palisade Avenue.
The BYOB restaurant — which will focus on food from Italy’s Piemonte region — is the creation of Drew Buzzio (Salumeria Biellesse, Biricchino), Marc Magliozzi (Dozzino), and Peter Fontana. All pastas will be made from scratch in-house and the restaurant’s Italian meats and cheeses will come courtesy of New York’s Salumeria Biellesse.
Corto will open Friday and Saturday evening via reservation only. Reservations must be made through Instagram.
