Flower-arranging workshop at Taphaus (Monday)
Mother’s Day may be over, but you can still treat mom — or yourself — to a flower-arranging workshop by Alice’s Table. The class will be held at Taphaus (2 Second Street) and costs $65/pp. Flowers and vases are included with admission.

Portuguese dinner/wine tasting at The Kitchen Step (Tuesday)
Why wait till wine Wednesday when you can wine on Tuesday? Head to the Kitchen Step tonight for a multi-course winemaker dinner spotlighting Portugal’s Julia Kemper wines. Tickets are $85/pp.

Spring cleanse and meditation (Tuesday)
Acuworx Studio and The Modern Sage are teaming up for a Spring Cleanse & Meditation session. A communal acupuncture treatment will be given by Panos Ioannou of Acuworx Studio and group meditation will be led by Leah Guy of The Modern Sage. Admission is $20/pp.

Feast on Filipino food at the JC Annual Foundation Gala (Thursday)
Celebrate the contributions of Jersey City’s Filipino community at tonight’s Jersey City Free Public Library Annual Gala. Held at the NJCU School of Business at Harborside, the gala will feature a kamayan-style dinner catered by chef Dale Talde with dessert by Milk Sugar Love and complimentary drinks courtesy of PJ Ryan’s. Tickets are $100/pp and proceeds from the event will help the JCFPL Foundation expand services and create a Makerspace/Innovation Lab for the Jersey City Free Public Library.

Whealth dinner for Hope (Thursday)
Whealth is hosting a special dinner/fundraiser to benefit CurePSP, a 501(c)(3) charity that helps patients with neurodegenerative diseases. Tickets for the 3-course, BYOB dinner cost $45 and 100% of ticket sales will help CurePSP.

Cheese class for moms (Thursday)
Join Van Hook Cheese and Jersey Wine & Spirits for Mommy & Brie — a wine a cheese class for new mothers. The class will pair cheeses and wines from around the world. Little ones and all family members are equally welcome. Tickets are $30/pp (babies enter free).

LSC After Dark Superheroes Edition (Thursday)
From the decor to the drinks, this month’s LSC After Dark will be dedicated to the comic book superheroes we all grew up with. Midnight Market is curating a list of local food vendors and DJ Monopoli will be spinning the tunes. Admission is $20/pp (when purchased online) or $25/pp at the door.

Surf City reopens for the season (Thursday)
Say hello to beach-side cocktails, lobster rolls, and a new raw bar complete with poké bowls at Surf City’s opening day.
