Third Journal Squared tower tops out at 60 stories

The tower will reach full completion in early 2024

The third and final tower at Journal Squared has reached its maximum height of 60 stories. The new tower, which will be fully completed by the first quarter of 2024, adds 598 rental residences and 18,000 square feet of amenities to the existing Journal Squared complex.

Designed by HWKN Architecture and Handel Architects, the third tower will feature 18,000 square feet of amenities and plenty of social spaces including a performance lounge, karaoke room, and recording spaces. Residents will also enjoy a makerspace area, co-working lounge, lobby cafe, and a sky lounge.

Journal Squared currently consists of a 53- and 70-story tower with a public plaza that hosts community events. When fully completed, the three Journal Squared towers will include 1,840 rental residences and 36,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
