What: Sean Kiely & Friends at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, April 21 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Three Thirds Cafe Grand Opening
When: Thursday, April 21 from 7am
Where: 400 Claremont Avenue
The team behind Amelia’s Bistro is opening a new cafe in Jersey City’s West Side neighborhood. Three Thirds Cafe will open today at 7am offering a mix of coffee, lattes, homemade pastries, and waffles.

What: JC Wine Fest 2022 at Harborside
When: Friday, April 22 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm
Where: Harborside Atrium
The Jersey City Wine Fest is back at the Harborside Atrium for another evening of wine sipping. Sample wines from Argentina, Chile, Australia, Italy, Spain, and more. Tickets to the Jersey City Wine Fest are $70/pp.

Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Enjoy an evening of cocktails and vinyl music as Jim the Boss and Jeff Marino take a trip down memory lane playing the best soul, R&B, funk, and Latin music of the 60s and 70s. Admission is free.

From bacon empanadas to a bacon truffle sandwich — Bacon Fest is back at Zeppelin Hall. Through Sunday, April 24, you can order from 15 different bacon entrees that include dishes like bacon mac & cheese, a bacon Nashville chicken sandwich, and more.

What: Clo Coffee at Cottage Street Grand Opening
When: Saturday, April 23 from 8am to 4pm
Where: 28 Cottage Street
Clo Coffee — which holds a spot in our best cafes Jersey City list — just opened its new cafe. To celebrate the occasion, they’re hosting a plant pop-up with Mys. TerraGoddess. Come enjoy some coffee and pastries as Mys. TerraGoddess answers all of your plant questions.

What: Yoga at PLNTD
When: Saturday, April 23 at 9am
Where: 16 Erie
PLNTD Jersey City is hosting its first yoga class this Saturday to benefit women in Ukraine. Admission is $35 per person and the fee goes directly to Women For Women International. You must DM PLNTD via Instagram (or yoga instructor @MiaRuhlen) to reserve a spot.

What: Ayala Coffee Pop-Up at Baonanas
When: Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 4pm
Where: 181 Monticello Avenue
Local dessert shop Baonanas is teaming up with New Jersey-based Ayala Coffee for a weekend pop-up. Head to the Baonanas Cafe to sample Ayala’s Filipino-inspired drinks like the ube latte, leche flan, pandan, cassava latte.

When: Saturday, April 23 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

Sunday Events

What: McGinley Square Cleanup
When: Sunday, April 24 from 10am to 1pm
Where: 729 Bergen Avenue
The McGinley Square Special Improvement District (SID) and Sustainable Jersey City are teaming up for an afternoon of community clean up. Volunteers wishing to help can show up at Wonder Bagels (729 Bergen Avenue) to pickup supplies and start cleaning up the neighborhood. Anyone wishing to join/help can register here.

When: Sunday, April 24
