What: Chili Mania Festival at Zeppelin Hall
When: through Sunday, April 8
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Celebrate all things hot and spicy during Zeppelin Hall’s annual Chili Festival. A special chili menu features eight different chilies such as Elk Chili ($12; elk sirloin braised with Pasilla chilies, tomatoes, and poblanos), Gator Chili Tacos ($11; chunks of alligator sausage/chorizo roasted over chipotle), and traditional Beef Chili ($10; beef, beans, and cheddar cheese).

What: Poetry, Prose, & Song at La Unica Bakery
When: Friday, March 23 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Where: 454 Central Avenue
Spring has arrived and La Unica Bakery is hosting a benefit for the gardens of Pershing Field. The evening will include music by Addie Mahmassani and prose/poetry by Ananda Lima and Sanjay Agnihotri. Admission is $16 and it includes a beverage and your choice of a sweet or savory bite.

What: Wise Animal Rescue Fundraiser at Talde
When: Saturday, March 24 from 6pm to 9pm
Where: 8 Erie Street
Talde is hosting a fundraiser for Wise Animal Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping neglected, abused, and homeless animals. Tickets are $25 ($30 at the door) and admission includes two auction tickets and a drink. All proceeds will be donated to Wise Animal Rescue.

What: Dinner with Musicians at Whealth Cafe
When: Saturday, March 24 from 7pm to 10pm
Where: Whealth Cafe at Journal Squared/615 Pavonia Avenue
Whealth Cafe is returning to its roots with this weekend’s Dinner with Musicians — a pop-up dinner and intimate musical performance rolled into one. Performing after the dinner will be Whealth founder himself, David Trotta. The BYOB, 3-course dinner is $45/pp.
