Thursday Events

What: Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Corgi Spirits
When: Thursday, June 2 from 7pm to 9pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Celebrate the the Queen’s 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom at Corgi Spirits. The distillery will be airing the jubilee on a projector and serving $8 cocktail specials for the occasion. There will also be a “Fascinator” hat contest.

What: National Donut Day at The LoDG
When: Friday, June 3
Where: 7 Bleecker Street
Heights-based donut shop The LoDG is celebrating National Donut Day with a limited time special. On Friday only, The LoDG will feature a Grab ‘n Go half-dozen box of donuts for $20.

What: A Night in Spain by Green Pear Heights
When: Friday, June 3 at 8pm
Where: 93 Franklin Street
BYOB restaurant Green Pear Heights is hosting a night of Spanish music featuring Barbara Martinez, Albert Alabedra, and Elisabeth Torras. Admission is $60/pp.

What: Movies on the Pier by Exchange Place Alliance
When: Friday, June 3 at sunset
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another night of Movies on the Pier. This Friday you’ll be able to catch a free screening of Shrek. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). Living Room JC saleWhat: Living Room Spring Cleaning Sale
When: Saturday, June 4 from 11am to 7pm
Where: 277 Newark Avenue
Home goods store Living Room JC is hosting a spring cleaning sale and taking from 30% to 50% off select items for home and play. Even better, a portion of the sale’s proceeds will be donated to the York Street Project and Hudson Pride Center.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, June 4 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: JC Jazz Fest 2022
When: Saturday, June 4 from 12pm to 8pm
Where: 107 Morgan
The Jersey City Jazz Festival returns with 14 free performances by the likes of Winard Harper & Jeli Posse, Walter Parks & the Unlawful Assembly, Gonzalo Bergara, and more. The performances will take place on stage at 107 Morgan Street. Full bar and food trucks will be available.

When: Saturday, June 4
Where: 50 JSQ Plaza
A piece of JSQ history comes to an end today as the JSQ Lounge permanently closes its doors. Join the staff for one last toast at the bar.

What: JC Night Market at City Hall
When: Saturday, June 4 from 4pm to 10pm
Where: 179 Montgomery
The Jersey City Night Market is back. The free, outdoor market will be held at a new location at 179 Montgomery (the parking lot behind City Hall). The kid- and pet-friendly event will offer local eats, crafts by local vendors, and a bar area for adults. Vendors include Jersey & Co. Gelato, MozzArepas, Oh K-Dog (Korean Rice Hot Dogs), and more.

What: Sunday Runs with Four Fitness
When: Sunday, June 5 at 8am
Where: 667 Montgomery Street
Join Jersey City gym Four Fitness every Sunday at 8am for free J.City Sunday runs. The group will run from Four Fitness (667 Montgomery) to Exchange Place. Experienced and newbie runners are equally welcome.

What: 10th Annual Jersey City Ward Tour
When: Sunday, June 5 at 11am
Where: City Hall Plaza
Bike JC’s Jersey City Ward Tour is an annual bike ride that cycles through all six wards that make up Jersey City. The 15-mile ride begins at City Hall and ends at 107 Morgan, aka the Jersey City Jazz Festival. It’s free to ride, but a $5 suggested donation is appreciated.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, June 5
Where: 364 Grove Street
