What: Smorgasbar 2023 Season Grand Opening
When: Friday, May 5 from 3pm to 11pm
Where: 3 Second Street
Smorgasbar is back! After last weekend’s rain delay, the outdoor beer garden returns for the 2023 season at 3 Second Street along the Jersey City waterfront. Enjoy eats from the likes of Carlito’s Tacos along with beer, wine, cocktails, and more while overlooking the New York City skyline.

The Jersey City Craft Brew Fest is back! Enjoy a night of of all things beer related with unlimited samples from Jersey City’s own Departed Soles, Hoboken Brewery, Yale Terrace Brewery, Ashton Brewing Company, and more. What: Midnight Market 2023 Season Opener
When: Friday, May 5 from 6:30pm to 11:59pm
Where: MAD JC (227 Coles)
Midnight Market is back for its 2023 season! The outdoor food festival will feature Eemas Cuisine, Oh-K Dog & Egg Toast, Jersey & Co. Gelato, Bolivian food truck Tunkas, and more. Admission is $20/pp (food not included). The event is 21+ only (no kids allowed) and there will be multiple cash bars available.

What: Spring Cleaning Blowout

Where: Grove Path/Plaza
Handmade Market is an open-air bazaar featuring local artists and makers selling art and hand-crafted goods. This weekend, their Spring Cleaning Blowout will feature “throwback JC swag” priced at $10 or less.

What: Plant Party at Barrow Mansion

The Barrow Mansion is hosting a casual plant swap where neighbors can bring, trade, and go home with plants. There will be soil and a potting station for easy transplanting. Plus, there will be music and refreshments. Admission is $15/pp.
