It’s the last weekend of January and there are multiple events happening in Jersey City. From a beer dinner in the Heights to a fundraiser at FM — here are our top picks for the weekend. Also, just a reminder that there’s no 33rd-JSQ PATH service this weekend, so avoid the city if you can.

Where: 93 Franklin
BYOB restaurant Green Pear Heights is teaming up with CoolVines for an Irish Beer Dinner. The evening will include beer from CoolVines, food from Green Pear Heights, and musical performances/dance by Niall O’Leary and Clare Horgan. Admission is $45/pp.

Hooked JC has started offering late-night deliveries on Friday and Saturday nights. You can place orders till 3am via Doordash, PostMates, and Uber Eats.

Whealth Cafe is hosting its first farm to table dinner of the century. Enjoy three courses of family style eats followed by acoustic music over dessert. Admission is $65/pp. BYOB.

What: Snow Ball Gala 2020 at Art House

Where: 262 17th Street
Art House Productions presents the annual Winter Snow Ball, a gala to benefit the Art House’s nonprofit performing and visual arts programs. Admission starts at $125 and includes buffet, cocktail bar, live Entertainment from Forget The Whale and DJ Paul Mendoza.

Jersey Social is celebrating Bollywood music and Indian cuisine with its Taste of India party. Admission is $45/pp (food/cash bar) or $85/pp (food/open bar).

Frankie Jersey City

What: Fundraiser for Australia at Frankie
When: Sunday, January 26 from 11am to 10pm
Where: 264 Grove Street
Indulge in Australian wine and eats for a good cause. This Sunday, Frankie will donate $1 of every drink purchase to the Wires Wildlife Rescue. There will be Australian movie screenings and drink specials throughout the day.

What: Sneaker Fest
When: Sunday, January 26 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: Harborside Atrium
Sneaker Fest is a sneaker convention that lets collectors buy, sell, and trade some of the rarest sneakers/clothings/items in the world. There will be over 50 vendors and over 500 attendees. Admission starts at $19.99.

What: Puerto Rico Fundraiser with Segunda Quimbamba
When: Sunday, January 26 from 12:30pm to 4pm
Where: 340 Third Street
FM and Segunda Quimbamba are teaming up for a fundraiser for Puerto Rico. (Segunda Quimbamba is a not for profit Puerto Rican Cultural Arts organization established in 1997 in Jersey City). The concert kicks off at 12:30pm and 100% of funds will go to families affected the most by the recent earthquakes in Puerto Rico. Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

What: Dullboy Sunday Tea Party
When: Sunday, January 26 from 3pm to 6pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
Cocktail bar Dullboy is hosting its first Sunday Tea Party of the year. The bar will serve its version of boozy English-style tea along with house-made punch and Dullboy-style bites. Admission is $45/pp (a party of at least two people is required to make reservations).

What: Australia Day Fundraiser at Bluestone Lane
When: Sunday, January 26 from 3pm
Where: Bluestone Lane Bowery Cafe at 19 Kenmare
The Bluestone Lane Bowery Cafe is holding a fundraiser to support the Australian Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund, through the American Red Cross. The event will include Australian food, beer, and wine as well as raffles and prices. Admission is $35/pp and 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the American Red Cross.
