The Riverview Jazz Festival comes to a close this Saturday, but that doesn’t mean the party has ended. Come to Riverview Fisk Park for an all-day jazz-fest with music, food, arts & crafts, and more. Segunda Quimbamba is a Jersey City-based percussion and dance ensemble that performs authentic Bomba and Plena — the drum music of Puerto Rico. I’ve seen them perform at the All About Downtown Fest and they’re the definition of “lit” with their contagious and passionate performances. They’ll be hosting a benefit concert for Puerto Rico at FM Saturday night. Expect it to be awesome.

What: MeshFest – Wellness, Arts, & Music Festival

Where: NJIT Campus Center at 150 Bleeker Street
MeshFest is a networking event in the form of a wellness and arts festival that’ll feature 40+ vendors dishing out everything from kombucha to smoothie pops. The all-day event will also feature a live DJ, yoga classes, ballroom dance classes by Jersey City Ballroom, and even a yoga trapeze class. Admission is $20/pp, but you can use coupon code “JCUPFRONT” to pay just $15/pp.
