What: SW3AT Sauna Studio Grand Opening
When: Friday, November 9 from 11:30am
Where: 172 Newark Avenue
Get ready to sweat that flab away. Jersey City’s first infrared sauna studio opens today at 11:30am with a grand opening party/ribbon cutting. Sessions can be booked online or SW3AT also accepts walk ins.

What: Segunda Quimbamba Concert for Puerto Rico
When: Saturday, November 10 from 6:30pm to 11pm
Where: Nimbus Dance Works at 165 Newark Avenue
Jersey City’s Segunda Quimbamba and Spirit of Life Jazz Ensemble are hosting a benefit concert for Puerto Rico. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door.

What: 1st Annual JC Wedding Expo
When: Sunday, November 11 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: Hyatt Regency at 2 Exchange Place
Plan the perfect Jersey City-based wedding at the first annual JC Wedding Expo, held at the Manhattan Ballroom inside the Hyatt Regency. Admission is free and vendors in attendance include Bucket & Bay, Casa Mona, Jersey City Ballroom Dancing, Shampoo JC, Antonio Gual (wedding gowns), and more.

What: 4-Course Wine Dinner at The Kitchen Step
When: Sunday, November 11 at 6pm
Where: 500 Jersey Avenue
End your weekend on a high note, with a 4-course wine dinner with winemaker Palmer Emmitt of Sonoma Valley’s Judge Palmer and Domenica Amato wines. You’ll taste 7 wines and enjoy a 4-course dinner prepared by The Kitchen Step’s chefs. Tickets are $125/pp and reservations are required.

What: Pig & Khao Sunday” at Piggyback Bar
When: Sunday, November 11
Where: 200 Hudson Street
Today is the start of “Pig & Khao Sunday” at Piggyback Bar. Chef/owner Leah Cohen will bring one classic dish from her Lower East Side restaurant to Jersey City. Things kick off with Khao Soi (pictured) — a mix of red curry, coconut milk, chicken, egg noodles, pickled mustard greens, and red onions.
