What: 5th Annual Pierfest by Exchange Place Alliance
When: Friday, September 8 from 6pm to 9pm
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting the 5th annual Pierfest. The event features world-class Latin jazz, dance instruction, and food. It’ll be held every Friday through September 29. Tonight the show will feature Oscar Hernandez & Alma Libre (6:15pm) along with Karen Joseph “MamboCha” (7:45pm).

What: All About Downtown Food Festival
When: Saturday, September 9 from 12pm to 8pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza
Jersey City’s biggest food festival is back celebrating its 12th year. Highlights for 2023 include a reggae party/beer garden from Left Bank, Kids’ Zone, a salsa dance party on Grove, and live music venues.

What: Salsa on the Grove
When: Saturday, September 9 from 6pm to 10pm
Where: Grove between Bay Street & Morgan
Salsa on the Grove is a free, monthly music festival that runs from May through September. For the past 18 years, the family-friendly event brings various local musicians and performers to a pop-up stage on Grove. This will be their last event for 2023.

What: Comedy Night at Corgi Spirits
When: Saturday, September 9 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Head to Corgi Spirits for a night of comedy and cocktails. Jersey City comedians Ryan Rummel and Alex Grubard will showcase stand-up comedians from all over the tri-state area. Admission is $20 per person.

What: Rooftop Yoga at The Stork Club
When: Sunday, September 10 from 11am to 1pm
Where: 2 Chapel Avenue
The Stork Club is a new members-only rooftop bar located at Hudson House (above Felina Steak). Today, the rooftop bar is hosting an outdoor yoga class led by Urban Souls. The event is open to non-members ($30/pp) and members ($24/pp).

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, September 10
Where: 364 Grove Street
