What: Midnight Market Halloween Edition
When: Friday, October 11 from 6:30pm to 11:59pm
Where: Harborside Atrium
Midnight Market’s Monsters & Munchies edition is one big massive Halloween party complete with food, drinks, and treats. Food vendors will include Cryo Cream (pictured), Moffle Bar, Doughnut Evolution, Two Crepes, and more. Tickets are $5/pp at the door if you get there from 6:30pm to 7:30pm or $10/pp general admission.

What: Lights of Diwali Bazaar
When: Friday, October 11 from 4pm to 10pm
Where: J. Owen Grundy Pier
Head to the waterfront for an evening of Bollywood dancing under the stars. Plus, enjoy the Diwali Bazaar, which will offer food, activities for kids, and more.

What: Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening/Performance
When: Friday, October 11 from 7pm to 11pm
Where: 435 Newark Avenue (Harsimus Cemetery)
Spend your Friday at the Harsimus Cemetery where you’ll get to watch (and participate) in a reenactment of the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Costumes are welcome! Admission is $20/pp (payable at the gate).

What: Oktoberfest at the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten
When: through October 19
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Celebrate Oktoberfest Jersey City style at the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten. The biergarten will launch a new German-inspired menu for the celebration with dishes such as Saurerkraut and Sausage Soup, Schweinebraten (roasted pork), and Schweinshaxe (roasted ham hock). Plus, there will be live German bands playing Thursdays through Saturday nights.

Double Parked Street Festival

What: Double Parked Street Festival
When: Saturday, October 12 from 12pm to 9pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza
Pet Shop JC and The Archer are teaming up to produce the Pedestrian Plaza’s inaugural Double Parked Street Festival. The all-day indie/rock fest will include performances by Ex Hex, Barrie, Crazy & the Brains, and more. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.

What: 2nd Annual Arts on the Hudson Fest
When: Saturday, October 12 from 12pm to 6pm
Where: Hamilton Park
Arts on the Hudson is a family-friendly festival with live music, activities for kids, and a Story Slam presented by No Dominion Theatre Co.

What: The Lutze Season Closer
When: Saturday, October 12 from 12pm to 12am
Where: 3 Second Street
The Lutze will close for the 2019 season today. Head to the waterfront for one more outdoor drink. There will be four fire pits, blankets, s’mores kits, and happy hour specials all-day.

What: Bergen-Lafayette Pack Walk Pop-Up
When: Saturday, October 12 from 2pm to 4:30pm
Where: Corgi Spirits
The Bergen-Lafayette Pack Walk Pop-Up (say that 4x fast) is a guided neighborhood walk for doggos and their parents. The tour — led by Jersey City’s Tails on Trails — will explore the local sights, areas, shops, and fire hydrants.

West Side Chili Cook-Off

What: 5th Annual West Side Chili Cook-Off
When: Sunday, October 13 from 12pm to 2pm
Where: Lincoln Park
Get ready to taste Jersey City’s best chili. The 5th Annual West Side Chili Cook-Off kicks off this afternoon at Lincoln Park. Although the deadline has passed to compete in the contest, tasters are still invited to come out and try (and vote for) the area’s best chili.

What: Women Who Brunch: Feat. Midnight Market
When: Sunday, October 13 from 11:30am to 1:30am
Where: Orale at 341 Grove Street
Part networking event, part dining experience, Women Who Brunch is a community of women who are looking to network and support each other — while brunching. This afternoon, Midnight Market creators/owners Alysis Vasquez and Perla Nieves will be on-hand to talk about how they created MM from scratch and turned it into a thriving foodie event in Jersey City.

What: Oktoberfest at The Vanguard

Where: Orale at 341 Grove Street
The Vanguard Harrison is kicking off its Oktoberfest festivities today with German-inspired beer and food specials. The specials kick off at 4pm on Saturday. (The Vanguard is owned by the same team behind the forthcoming Franklin Social).
