From a waterfront beer fest to an Earth Day 5K run, here are your best bets for weekend fun in and around Jersey City.

What: Masquerade Ball at Jersey City Ballroom
When: Friday, April 20 from 7pm to 9pm
Where: 189 Brunswick (3rd Floor)
Dance your way into the weekend at the Jersey City Ballroom’s Friday Night Masquerade. Open to beginners, experts, and everyone in between — the evening includes a dance class, raffle, mixer, dance performances, and food/wine. Come with a friend or come by yourself. Admission is $12/pp.

What: Earth Day 5K Run, Walk, & Fair
When: Saturday, April 21 from 9am to 4pm
Where: Liberty State Park
Celebrate Earth Day at Liberty State Park with a 5K Run or Walk followed by a fair. Online registration has closed, but you can still sign up on race/walk day. Registration starts at 7am, the race at 10am, and the Earth Day Fair at 11am. The fair will have plenty of family-friendly activities, entertainment, rides, and more.

What: Wellness Workshop at Jane Doe
When: Saturday, April 21 from 11:30am to 2pm
Where: 160 Newark Avenue
Break a sweat and get tips on healthy living at Power Up — a wellness workshop hosted by the Brazen Beauty Project. Check-in starts at 11:30am and is followed by a group fitness class at 12pm. Afterwards you’ll get brunch break courtesy of Magoos Kitchen, which is followed by and a wellness panel at 1pm.

What: Marketplace JC at Magnolia Landing
When: Saturday, April 21 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: 136 Magnolia Avenue
Outdoor market season is back and so is Marketplace JC. Located at Magnolia Landing, the outdoor market — which will be held every first and third Saturday of the month through November — includes artisan, vintage, and various food vendors. There will also be live music courtesy of Riverview Jazz. Vendors this weekend include We Build Bikes, Deko & Gina (hand-made dresses), The Urban Oasis Shop (succulent and air plant home decor), and Juice for Us (cold-pressed juices/smoothies).

What: 3rd Annual Craft Brew Fest
When: Saturday, April 21 from 1pm to 4:30pm; 6pm to 9:30pm
Where: Harborside Atrium
Taste, sample, and drink your way through the 3rd Annual Craft Brew Fest, happening this afternoon at the Harborside Atrium. There are two sessions (1pm – 4:30pm and 6pm – 9:30pm) and you can use coupon code “JCUPFRONT” to take $15 off general admission.

What: Whealth Dinner with Musicians
When: Saturday, April 21 from 7pm to 10pm
Where: 615 Pavonia Avenue at Journal Squared
Whealth Cafe is returning to its roots with this weekend’s Dinner with Musicians — a pop-up dinner and intimate musical performance rolled into one. Performing after the dinner will be Whealth founder himself, David Trotta, alongside a host of other musicians. The BYOB, 3-course dinner is $45/pp and guaranteed to be delicious as always.

What: 2nd Annual Hoboken Wellness Crawl
When: Sunday, April 22 from 11am to 4pm
Where: various locations
Join Hoboken Girl for their 2nd Annual Hoboken Wellness Crawl — an entire day celebrating health and fitness throughout Hoboken. Participants are given a wellness map and can visit holistic, fitness, beauty, and wellness businesses throughout Hoboken at their leisure. Over 90 business are participating including Powerflow Yoga, Jane DO, Prime Cycle, Acai Ya Later, and more. There will also be four wellness hubs with vendors offering samples and giveaways. Tickets are $20/pp. Plus, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to The Water Project, a charity focused on supplying clean drinking water to communities around the world.

Join Gary Van Miert of the “The Sensational Country Blues Wonders” alongside Glen Coleman and Frank Ippolito as they perform their original songs and talk about the songwriting process during this intimate evening of music.

What: Taste of Battery Park
When: Saturday, April 21 from 12pm to 3pm
Where: Battery Park, NYC
Taste of Battery Park is back for its 3rd year. The foodie events showcases restaurants from the area such as Le District, Eataly, Parm, City Vineyard, El Vez, and more. Tickets are $25 (or $35 the day of the event). Proceeds benefit PS89 in Tribeca/Battery Park.
