The Golden Door Film Fest celebrates Jersey City’s actors, directors, and film producers. Catch multiple indie films and documentaries across various locations in the city.

What: Surf City Final Call
When: Friday, September 21 to Saturday, September 22
Where: 1 Marin Boulevard
Surf City is extending its summer season for two more days. So whether you’re there for the waterfront views or the extensive seafood menu, enjoy one last round at Jersey City’s tropical, outdoor bar.

What: Flea Market & Park Fest
When: Saturday, September 22 from 10am to 5pm
Where: Riverview Park
The 31st Annual Flea Market & Park Fest brings live music and local food to Riverview Park. Expect bagels from Wonder Bagel, pizza from Gino’s, and burritos from Mission Burritos.

What: Oktoberfest at Zeppelin Hall
When: Saturday, September 22 to Sunday, October 14
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall is going full German for the next few weeks as it celebrates Oktoberfest. Executive Chef Franco Robazetti will feature dishes such as Jaegermeister Chicken Schnitzel, crispy fried chicken schnitzel topped with mushroom sauce and blackened Brussels sprouts; Schweinshaxe, smoked crispy pork shank served with rosemary-roasted red potatoes and winekraut; and the Pretzilla, a massive pretzel served with Obatzda cheese dip, Bavarian sweet mustard, and honey mustard.

What: Famous Food Market + JC Seafood Festival
When: Saturday, September 22 from 11am to 8pm
Where: 200 Greene Street (Urby Parking Lot)
We’re down to the final three Famous Food Markets of the season and today’s market will be all about seafood. From lobster rolls to oysters, this is a street fest seafood lovers won’t want to miss. Even better, proceeds will benefit an environmental charity (which has yet to be named).

What: 4th Annual House Music Festival
When: Saturday, September 22 from 12pm to 10pm
Where: J. Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place
Exchange Place will morph into a massive, open-air club during the 4th Annual House Music Festival. The epic festival starts at 12pm and runs through 10pm.

What: Brunch at Corto
When: Saturday, September 22 & Sunday, September 23 from 12pm to 3pm
Where: 507 Palisade Avenue
Treat yourself to a homemade Italian brunch as Corto launches its new weekend brunch service today. The BYOB restaurant will offer sandwiches, soups, and pastas.

What: Jersey City Run & Brunch
When: Sunday, September 23 from 10am to 1pm
Where: Harborside
NASM-certified personal trainer, Wilhelmina fitness model, and JC resident Jesse Barton is hosting a casual run along the waterfront this morning followed by a brunch/socializing hour. Runners of all levels are welcome and admission is $15/pp.
