The unofficial end of summer has arrived. Celebrate those last summer hours with our list of the top things to do, eat, and see on this extended holiday weekend.

What: Claws 2 at Surf City
When: Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 16
Where: 1 Marin Boulevard
“Claws 2” is Surf City’s version of Lobster Fest. Starting today though September 16, the outdoor beach bar will be dishing out 10 new lobster-centric dishes including lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, and whole 1.25-pound lobsters served with potatoes and corn.

What: Famous Food Market Harborside
When: Saturday, September 1 & Sunday, September 2 from 11am to 7:30pm
Where: Fifteen 2nd Street (next to Lutze Biergarten)
New York’s Famous Food Market is back for another weekend in Jersey City. This weekend, the outdoor market will include Fatty Cakes, Ani Ramen, Casa Cubana, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland, No Forks Given, and more.

What: Marketplace JC Celebrates Women in Business
When: Saturday, September 1 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: 136 Magnolia Avenue
Marketplace JC is dedicating today’s market to women-owned businesses. Vendors will include eco-friendly candles/apothecary goods by The Lucky Honeybee, pottery/paintings by Leigh’s Art Shop, ceramics by Artesana Pottery, Hawaiian food by Eemas Cuisine, and more. Plus, enjoy live music courtesy of Riverview Jazz.

What: Darke Pines Sunday Hours
When: New Sunday Hours
Where: 332 Second Street
Good news for all you home chefs. Sustainable butcher shop Darke Pines has added new Sunday hours just in time for Labor Day weekend. The shop’s new hours are Tuesday through Saturday (11:30am to 7pm) and Sundays (12pm to 5pm). At the shop this weekend you’ll find Darke Pines’ pork dumpling sausage, bratwurst, beef chorizo, and hot dogs (all made in-house). They’ll also have three styles of sausage — chicken and herb, sweet Italian, hot Italian, and Philly cheesesteak (pictured). The shop will be closed on Labor Day.

What: Mathews Bad & Bourgie BBQ
When: Monday, September 3 from 11am
Where: 351 Grove Street
Don’t feel like spending Labor Day behind a hot grill? Let the chefs at Mathews do all the cooking for you. Mathews’ Bad & Bourgie BBQ will feature Habanero Peach BBQ Ribs, Wagyu Beef Hot Dogs, Lobster Rock Shrimp Rolls, and more. Reservations (which you can make online) are recommended.
