What: Spring Around Town Cocktail Crawl

Where:
Franklin Social, Kitchen Step, Corgi Spirits, Dullboy
Four of Jersey City’s top restaurants and bars are teaming up for a June cocktail crawl. The crawl can be done at your own leisure and requires that diners visit Franklin Social, Corgi Spirits, Dullboy, and The Kitchen Step. Once you’ve received “stamps” from each location, you can return to Franklin Social for 15% off your next visit. Diners have till the end June to get their stamps and the Franklin Social discount can be redeemed through August 31.

What: Bel Canto Opera Performance
When: Friday, June 11 at 6pm
Where: City Hall Plaza at 280 Grove
Start your weekend with a free opera performance on the steps of City Hall. The Bel Canto Opera will be a concert for peace and unity presented by the Bel Canto International Society.

What: Drive-In Movie Night (Mean Girls)
When: Friday, June 11 at 7:15pm
Where: 107 Morgan Street (parking lot adjacent to CoolVines Powerhouse)
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another drive-in movie night. Friday’s film will be Mean Girls. Admission is $20 per car and reservations are required. Gates will close at 8pm and no entry will be allowed after that time.

What: Light Up The Loop Bike Ride
When: Friday, June 11 from 8:30pm
Where: Grove Plaza
Bike JC is hosting a special bike ride that will travel up to the Heights and back down through the Junction. The casual bike ride will begin at Grove Plaza at 8:30pm sharp.

Saturday Events

What: Nimbus Arts Festival & Youth Talent Show
When: Saturday, June 12 from 9am to 5pm
Where: 329 Warren Street
The Nimbus Arts Festival is a youth-focused event offering dance lessons, youth performances, food, and more. Performances for the Youth Talent Show will run from 1pm to 5pm.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, June 12 from 11am to 6pm
Where: 195 Hudson
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another weekend of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Big Mozz, Bisska, C Bao, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, D’Abruzzo, and Duck Season. The market will operate every Saturday through October. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside.

What: Euro Cup at Frankie
When: Saturday & Sunday
Where: 264 Grove Street
Catch the Euro Cup games while enjoying some organic wine and eats at Frankie this weekend. The restaurant will stream the games from its projector indoors. You can catch the full schedule of games on their Instagram.

What: The Cottage Weekend Jazz Trio
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 2:30pm to 6pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend. (Note, they recently tweaked the time so the music starts and finishes later in the day). The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

What: Loew’s Theater: To India with Love
When: Saturday, June 12 at 6pm
Where: 54 Journal Square
The Loew’s Theater will host a benefit show tonight for COVID-19 relief in India. The evening will feature an Indian dance performance by Rimli Roy a Surati followed by the classic Bollywood Film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.” Guests will also be able to enjoy Indian refreshments. Admission is $30/pp.

Sunday Events

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, June 13 at 6pm + 8pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its heated patio. The first showing is at 6pm followed by a second showing at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
