Journal Squared 2 is over 50% leased

The 68-story Journal Squared 2 tower is over 50% leased, according to developers KRE Group and National Real Estate Advisors. Leasing at the tower, which will be the tallest of the three Journal Squared buildings, started a little over a month ago. Located at 536 Summit Avenue, the tower is situated close to the forthcoming Pompidou Jersey City. Journal Squared 2 is currently offering up to three free months of rent as an incentive for potential renters.

NoLa-inspired restaurant coming to McGinley Square

A New Orleans-inspired eatery is coming to 673 Bergen Avenue, reports Jersey Digs. Krewe will offer NoLa-style dishes like po’ boys, and jambalaya. The BYOB restaurant will also offer various vegan options. As an added perk, the husband and wife team behind the restaurant hope to bring live musical performances to the space once they’re fully opened.

A new vegan cafe just opened at 90 Monticello Avenue, reports Hoboken Girl. Poor Man Vegan started off as a catering company before expanding into a vegan comfort food eatery. Its menu features everything from vegan fish and plant-based meatballs to vegan desserts. The restaurant opened in May and you can see their full menu on Uber Eats. Jersey City ranked among top 100 cities to live in

Jersey City is enjoying its time in the limelight. In addition to the recently announced Pompidou Jersey City outpost, New Jersey’s second largest city has been named one of the best cities in the United States to live in. According to Niche, which published the report, Jersey City gets an overall “A-” grade and comes in at number 79. The city is described as offering its residents and “urban feel” while providing plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. However, the city got a “C” for crime and safety and a “C-” for cost of living.
