What: The Jersey City Nutcracker at Nimbus Dance Works
When: Friday, December 14 from 7:30pm to 10pm
Where: 165 Newark Avenue
The Jersey City Nutcraker is an urban adaption of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic performed with a Jersey City twist. It premiers today and runs through December 22. Tickets start at $25/pp.

What: Zeppelin Hall Belgian Beer & Food Fest

Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
From Belgian fries to a Roquefort-smothered Belgian burger (pictured) — Zeppelin Hall’s Belgian Beer & Food Fest continues through the weekend of December 23 with over 20 different Belgian beers and a special Belgian food menu to order from. Plus, Saturday night is Zeppelin Hall’s Holiday party with live holiday music starting at 9pm.

What: Kanibal & Co. Pop-Up Shop
When: Saturday from 11am to 7pm; Sunday from 11am to 5pm
Where: 223 Pavonia Avenue
Kanibal & Co. is opening a second shop in Hamilton Park for the holidays. The pop-up shop will be open through December 23 and it’ll feature gifts for all types and budgets. Vendors include Busy Bee Organics, The Moxie Fox, Lucky Honey Bee, Once Upon a Lauren, and more.

When: Saturday, December 15 from 11am to 2pm
Where: 173 Newark Avenue
Bring home a 4-legged friend this holiday at See Spot Rescued’s adoption event. Krystle Carrington, Blake Carrington, and many other pups will be on their best behaviour as they look for their forever homes.

What: CoolVines Grand Opening
When: Saturday, December 15 from 1pm to 4pm
Where: 350 Warrent
CoolVines’ new Powerhouse shop is celebrating its official grand opening with all-day wine tastings and live music. Plus, enjoy free drinks at the newly opened Butler Cafe. On Sunday, Jersey City’s own Misunderstood Whiskey will be on-site with afternoon tastings of their ginger-based whiskey.

Dance like there’s no tomorrow at the Jersey City Ballroom’s Holiday Soiree. The night includes ballroom and Latin dance performances by JC Ballroom instructors and students as well as a mini-group dance class during intermission. The after-party starts at 9:30pm. Admission is $25/pp.
