Movies in the Park Jersey City returns tonight with a free screening of Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm).

What: Sean Kiely & Friends at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, July 21 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Midnight Market Returns to Jersey City
When: Friday, July 22 from 6pm to 12am
Where: 101 Pacific Avenue
Get ready for a night of eats, dance, and drinks. Midnight Market returns to 902 Brewing tonight offering two sessions. Session one ($10/pp) runs from 6pm till 8:30pm and includes access to the brewery, food for sale, live DJ, outdoor games, and more. Session two ($35/pp) run from 9:15pm till midnight and it includes the same, but throws in access to a silent disco (headphone rental included in price).

When: Friday, July 22 from 6:30pm
Where: 2 Chapel Avenue
Port Liberte restaurant Terra e Mare is hosting a rosé tasting this Friday. The night will include live music, passed hors d’oeuvres, and endless glasses of rosé. Admission is $83/pp.

What: Jam Cakery Vegan Supperclub
When: Friday, July 22 at 7pm
Where: 326 5th Street
Jam Cakery is hosting a vegan supperclub tonight. All dishes are plant-based/vegan with many gluten free dishes. The 5-course menu includes heart of palm croquettes, spring vegetable risotto, and more. (Certain dishes can be ordered for takeout/delivery as well).

The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another night of Movies on the Pier. This Friday you’ll be able to catch a free screening of The Lorax. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Head to Corgi Spirits for a night of comedy and cocktails. Jersey City comedians Ryan Rummel and Alex Grubard will showcase stand-up comedians from all over the tri-state area. Admission is $20 per person.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, July 23 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: Jersey City Caribbean Festival
When: Saturday, July 23 from 12pm to 10pm
Where: Phil Carrington Village at 459 MLK Drive
Carnival time has arrived in Jersey City. The Annual Jersey City Caribbean Festival is an all-day event kicking off at noon with live music, drinks, and food. Previously held along the Exchange Place waterfront, it’s now been moved to Bergen-Lafayette.

When: Saturday, July 23 from 8pm to 10pm

Sean Wayland will bring a touch of Aussie jazz and funk to Fox & Crow. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Abortion Rights Bake Sale
When: Sunday, July 24 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Where: Corner of Barrow & Montgomery (Van Vorst Park)
Over 20 local bakers will host a bake sale benefiting The Brigid Alliance, a referral-based service that provides people seeking abortions with travel, food, lodging, child care, and other logistical support.
