Where: 8 Erie Street
Hudson Hound is celebrating Oktoberfest with beer and brat specials from now through Sunday. Specials include a beer-braised brat for $10 and a Spaten Oktoberfest for $9.

What: Jersey City Comedy Jam at 902 Brewing
When: Friday, October 8 from 7pm to 11pm
Where: 101 Pacific Avenue
902 Brewing is hosting the Jersey City Comedy Jam featuring comedians from Comedy Central, Fox Soul, and Starz. General admission is $35/pp.

When: Friday, October 8 from 7pm
Where: Grove Plaza
Join Bike JC for the last Light Up Bike Ride of the season. The casual bike ride will leave from Grove Plaza at 7pm sharp, so arrive early. You can check out the course via their IG post.

What: Bacon and Beer Classic 2021
When: Saturday, October 9 from 11am to 5:30pm
Where: 107 Morgan Street
The Bacon and Beer Classic returns to Jersey City this weekend. The event, which will be held outdoors at the parking lot at 107 Morgan, is an all-you-can-eat festival featuring seven savory bacon dishes, two bacon-based desserts, and over 50 craft beers. General admission is $65/pp.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, October 9 from 11am to 6pm
Where: 195 Hudson
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another weekend of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Salt & Seed, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, D’Abruzzo, and more. The market will operate every Saturday through October. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside.

What: The Cottage Weekend Jazz Trio
When: Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend. (Note, they recently tweaked the time so the music starts and finishes later in the day). The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

What: Outdoor Comedy Show at Brightside Tavern
When: Saturday, October 9 at 7pm + 9:30pm
Where: 141 Bright Street
The Brightside Tavern is hosting a series of outdoor stand-up comedy shows throughout the month of October. Tonight’s headliners include Maureen Langan (Comics Unleashed), Pedro Gonzalez (The Late Show), and Amanda Vanostrand (TruTV, Amazon). Admission is $15/pp (or $20/pp on day of show).

Meet your fellow streamers and gamers at the Super Smash Bros. Tourney. You can watch for free or pay $10 to enter the tourney. The winner will receive a cash prize.

The Corgi Comedy Club is back for another night of laughs. The show will take place at the distillery’s patio (social distancing will be in effect). There will be stand-up comedy along with a cash bar. Admission is $20/pp.
