Mark your calendars. Beach season officially returns to Jersey City on May 17, as Surf City reopens for its 2018 season.
Located at 1 Marin Boulevard, the beach bar and restaurant will have some new tricks up its sleeve for the new season.
First, it will house two 27-foot shuffleboard courts. These will be in addition to other games like cornhole, giant Jenga, and foosball.
On the menu side of things, Surf City will now have a raw bar to satisfy all of your sushi, sushi taco, and poké bowl needs.
Finally, in addition to Surf City’s family- and pet-friendly areas, there will now be an adults-only section. Live bands will perform every Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 8pm with a DJ to follow at 10pm.
Surf City will soft open on Thursday, May 17. It will officially open for the season on Thursday, May 24, and will remain open seven days a week.
