Steak lovers, rejoice. Ruth’s Chris Steak House is opening its first Jersey City restaurant today at 499 Washington Boulevard, just a few steps away from the Newport PATH station.
The 11,750-square-foot restaurant — which will be open seven days a week — will have outdoor seating and a 4pm to 7pm happy hour (excluding Saturdays). The Newport restaurant will offer the steak house’s signature USDA prime steaks along with fresh seafood and an extensive wine list.
Ruth’s Chris will not be open for lunch — at least not initially — and there is a dress code diners should be aware of (business casual, no hats).
