Pizza Vita Opening in the Heights Next Week

After opening their first Jersey City pop-up inside Harborside Plaza last year, Pizza Vita is getting ready to bring its Neapolitan pizzas to Jersey City Heights.

Their new restaurant is expected to open next Wednesday, April 4 at 435 Palisade Avenue (between Hutton and Griffith).

Pizza Vita, which has been featured in the New York Times, opened its first sit-down restaurant in Summit, NJ, in 2011. Outside of Summit, chances are you’ve probably seen Pizza Vita’s mobile pizza truck at food festivals and farmers’ markets throughout New Jersey.

Pizza Vita’s menu includes pizzas like the Drunken (Vodka sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, basil); the Jersey Boy (crushed tomato, cherry peppers, onions, sausage, mozzarella); and the Falliflower (roasted cauliflower, kale, mozzarella, garlic Parmesan sauce).

In addition to pizza, the Summit location also offers various pastas and salads.

If you can’t wait till next week to satisfy your pizza fix, Pizza Vita will be one of the vendors at this weekend’s Final Four Foodie Fest.
