Naan Ching Bistro Opening in Former Komegashi Space

0

A new Asian-fusion bistro is coming to the space formerly occupied by Komegashi.

Located at 103 Montgomery, Naan Ching will specialize in Chinese, Thai, and Indian cuisine. Entrees will run the gamut from Thai Tom Kha Soup (coconut milk-based soup with chicken, veggies, or shrimp; $7) to Schezwan Shrimp (shrimp topped with hot Schezwan peppers; $22).

The restaurant will also offer tandoori breads, a broad range of curries (veggie, seafood, chicken, lamb/goat), and plenty of vegetarian options.

Prices will be on the low side for downtown with many entrees comfortably priced in the $16 range. For instance, a Hot & Sour Soup will cost $6, whereas a Crispy Whole Red Snapper (the priciest item on the menu) will go for $24. Lunch specials will also range from $10.99 to $12.99. You can check out the very extensive menu here (PDF).

Touch ups are being made to the space since we first spotted the “coming soon” banner,  so we expect it to open in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates.
