It may feel and look like winter, but this Saturday a big sign of the spring season is returning to Jersey City as Marketplace JC kicks off the starts of its sixth season.
Located on the corner of Magnolia and Summit, the outdoor market, which will run through November, will take over Magnolia Landing on the first and third Saturday of every month.
The market will feature a curated selection of 20+ local artisans, food vendors, vintage sellers, and more. New and veteran vendors include PJ Ryan’s Squared, Fil Fil Foods, Eemas Cuisine (pictured), and Moffle Bar. Live music will also be provided by Riverview Jazz.
The first Saturday of each month will be dedicated to a special theme. So far, the themes are:
- April 7: Local JC Only
- May 5: Vintage Marketplace
- June 2: Record Riot
- July 7: Multicultural Day
- August 4: Vegan/Vegetarian + Animal Rescue
- September 1: Female Artists & Artisans
- October 6: JC Art & Studio Tour Edition
- November 3: Vintage Marketplace
Marketplace JC runs from 12pm to 5pm.
