The first ever Jersey City Restaurant Fest is now underway. The event, which started on March 2, will run through Saturday, March 16 showcasing local restaurants in the Heights, downtown, Journal Square, and other parts of Jersey City. In total, there are 32 participating restaurants. Additionally, there are 12 “Light Bites” options focusing on pastries and desserts.
Organizer Melanie Rudin, of the Jersey City Restaurant Owners Coalition (JCROC), spearheaded the event to support the growth and development of local businesses. As part of Jersey City Restaurant Fest, local eateries are offering BOGO offers, prix fixe dinners, and tasting menus for the duration of the event. Restaurants include:
