Enna Bakery Now Serving Italian Eats and Sweets on Erie Street

Downtown has a new spot for Italian pastries and sandwiches.

Italian eatery Enna Bakery is now open in the former home of Prato Bakery at 61 Erie Street.

The bakery opened last Wednesday offering a mix of Italian sweets and savory dishes.

Pastries include biscotti, cannoli, croissants, sfogliatelle (a pastry filled with cream), and a wide variety of Italian cookies. Currently, there are also full cakes including a Red Velvet Cake and a Setteveli Cake — a cake with alternating chocolate and hazelnut layers. (I’m a fan of Eataly’s Setteveli and will certainly try Enna’s).

On the savory side, you can expect arancini (stuffed rice balls), sandwiches, and hearty focaccia bread pizza topped with ingredients like mozzarella, tomato, eggplant, and basil.

Drinks include coffee, espresso, lattes, and tea.

Everything sold at Enna from the breads to the cakes are baked in-house.

The bakery is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm.
