1: Confirmed coronavirus cases in Jersey City now stand at 3,812 (up from 3,691). These stats have been updated as of Monday, April 20. (City officials have not updated beyond that). Coronavirus-related deaths in Jersey City remain at 239 (updated as of April 18). —COVID-19 JC Stats

2: Despite a statewide ban on construction projects, 141 construction sites in Jersey City continue to operate. Buildings with affordable housing, schools/educational facilities, and single family home/units are just a few of the projects deemed “essential.” According to the city’s website, this includes projects like 331 Pine Street, 430 Palisade Avenue, and 351 Marin (pictured). —News12 NJ

3: New Jersey currently has 92,387 positive COVID-19 cases (up from 88,806) with 4,753 deaths (an increase of 379 — the state’s largest 1-day spike in deaths). —NJ Dept. of Health
