Foodies and fans of craft cocktails now have a reason to visit SoHo West.

New York’s RB Hospitality Group recently opened its first restaurant/lounge in New Jersey. Located at the base of the Cast Iron Lofts building — in the former home of Brewshot Cafe — Jersey Social is a new restaurant and cocktail lounge serving up modern American food and drinks.

Helming the kitchen at Jersey Social is chef Adin Langille (former executive chef at Fabrick by David Burke, and Michelin-starred Junoon). For Jersey Social, Langille’s menu offers a mix of dishes from ceviche and falafel bites to burgers and steak. The menu features small plates ($6 to $14), medium plates ($9 to $16), and large plates ($14 to $32).

Meanwhile, leading Jersey Social’s cocktail program is mixologist Hemant Pathak — bar manager at New York’s Junoon. The drink menu is elaborate with a mix of classic cocktails, signature drinks, whisky, rum, tequila, and beer. Expect to pay between $11 to $14 for a cocktail.

If you’re wondering what to order, we recently got the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Candied Bacon, which is as crispy and delicious as it sounds.

Jersey Social is open Tuesdays through Sundays at 837 Jersey Avenue.
