Guess what? It’s the first full week of spring and now that the weather is (sort of) warming up, we’re starting to see a small increase in weekday events. Here’s a shortlist of things to watch out for this coming week in Jersey City.

The Cliff now open on Mondays (Monday through Friday)

BYOB eatery The Cliff is bringing back Monday service as of today. The neighborhood cafe/restaurant, which holds a spot on our list of best brunch in Jersey City, will be open from 9am to 3pm. (38 Congress)

Harry’s Daughter now open for lunch (Monday through Friday)

Caribbean gastropub Harry’s Daughter is once again offering lunch specials Mondays through Fridays from 12pm till 4pm. The The neighborhood restaurant also offers happy hour from 12pm till 6pm. (339 Communipaw Avenue)

Live swing band at Corgi Spirits (Tuesday)

Riverview Jazz, a Jersey City-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, is hosting a fundraiser for the Jersey City Jazz Festival. The fundraiser will be held Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm at Corgi Spirits. It’ll feature live swing music by The Kate Curran Quartet, auctions, art shows, and cocktails by Corgi Spirits. Admission is $90/pp. The JC Jazz Fest is a celebration of all things jazz related. It features over 300 musicians performing on stages and clubs throughout Jersey City — all for free. (1 Distillery Drive)

Sell Your Soles Comedy Show at Departed Soles (Tuesday)

Jersey City brewery Departed Soles will host the Sell Your Soles Comedy Show tonight from 7pm. Hosted by Gordon Baker-Bone, of Drunk Black History, the night includes a packed lineup of local comedians. Admission is $25 pre-sale or $30 at the door. Price includes a complimentary beer. (150 Bay)

Terra e Mare opens inside Hudson House (Thursday)

New restaurant Terra e Mare opens for dinner today inside Hudson House. Part of the Landmark Hospitality network of restaurants (which also includes Liberty House), the Italian restaurant will offer a mix of steak and seafood entrees by executive chef David Felton. (2 Chapel Avenue)

Comedy Show at Nucky’s Speakeasy (Thursday)

Come for the cocktails, stay for the laughs. Nucky’s will be hosting a comedy show this Thursday from 7pm to 8:30pm. Admission is free. (8 Erie Street)

Speed dating for 40 and over at Green Pear Heights (Friday)

Neighborhood BYOB Green Pear Heights will be hosting an in-person speed dating night for residents age 40 and over. The event will run from 8pm till 10pm. Admission is $65/pp. Not into speed dating? The restaurant will host a vegan sushi class and dinner on March 31. (93 Franklin)
