From a 1920s Cocktail Party to a Food Truck Festival by the waterfront — here’s the best of what’s happening in Jersey City this week.

Last call for Restaurant Week (Monday)
Friendly reminder: Hudson Restaurant Week ends Friday, August 3, so make sure you check out those restaurants that have been on your to-do list. Need some inspiration? You can check out our recs here. (Ani Ramen’s braised pork buns pictured above). In New York, Restaurant Week runs through August 17.

Drink and Draw at Frankie (Tuesday)
Tap into your inner Picasso at Frankie’s Drink & Draw session. You’ll have to bring your own supplies, but the free event — hosted in collaboration with Bergen-Lafayette’s Deep Space Gallery —  includes a live model who’ll pose as your muse.

Writing Club at Atlas (Tuesday)
Calling all writers. Atlas is hosting a Writing & Wine Class, a small group of writers getting together to share their written stories. Admission is $25/pp.

Cocktails Under the Stars at Charles & Co. (Wednesday)
Help raise funds for the Art House’s 18th season of visual and performing arts during Cocktails Under the Stars — a fundraiser on the rooftop of Charles & Co. at 201 Montgomery. The event will include beer, cocktails, music, and small bites. Tickets are $75/pp.

Prohibition Party at Third & Vine (Thursday)
Party like its 1920 at Third & Vine’s Prohibition Cocktails & Lingerie Party. Enjoy Prohibition era booze and bites throughout the night. Plus, Another Man’s Treasure will be on hand to display the era’s risque lingerie. (Customers will get 20% off any Another Man’s Treasure purchase made during the event).

Summer Dance Series at Exchange Place (Thursday)
The Exchange Place Summer Dance Series comes to and end today with a free performance by Ariel Rivka Dance, an all-female contemporary dance company. The performance takes place at the J. Owen Grundy Pier at 6:30pm.

Departed Soles new beer release (Thursday)
PhilosoRapper is Departed Soles’ flagship beer (and one of my personal favorites). Today, the JC brewery is taking gluten-free beers to a new level (more so than they already have) with a gluten-free version of their flagship called G-Free Rex.

Food Truck Fest at Urby (Friday)
Good news if the rain kept you indoors last Friday. The Jersey City Food Truck Festival has been moved to today. The event will include eats by Pizza Vita, Angry Archies, MozzArepas, Milk Sugar Love, and more. Note that there is a $5/pp charge for admission (kids under 12 enter free).

Film Fest Pre-Party at the Brightside Tavern (Friday)
The Brightside Tavern’s 8th Annual Film Festival kicks off tonight with screenings of “Death Trail” and “Who’s Jenna.” Admission is $35/pp and includes open bar and free food.

90s Party at FM (Friday)
Break out your favorite denim and splash on some neon colors — FM is turning back the clock with its 90s Party, a tribute to everything we loved about the 90s.
