The warm weather won’t be the only thing making an appearance this week. Get ready for the return of the Farmers’ Market, Groove on Grove, and a Mexican-inspired Cinco de Kamayan dinner at Talde.

Farmers’ Market season returns to Grove (Monday)
Farmers’ Market season is back!  Join Ort Farms, Stony Hill Farm, Busy Bee Organics, Stellas Empanadas, the JC Fish Stand, and more for the 11th season of the Grove Farmers’ Market. The market runs from 4pm to 8pm Mondays and Thursdays through December.

Latham House unveils spring/summer menu (Tuesday)
One of my personal favorite restaurants is unveiling their new spring/summer menu tonight. Make sure to check out their Instagram for any sneak peeks.

Whiskey-Tasting Fundraiser at Brightside Tavern (Tuesday)
Drink some whiskey for a good cause at the 4th Annual Whiskey Tasting Fundraiser, which benefits the Jersey City Youth Foundation. Tickets cost $60/pp and admission includes food and two drinks of your choice.

Groove on Grove (Wednesday)
What better way to celebrate the sunny weather than with a free outdoor concert. Groove on Grove is back at Grove Plaza showcasing the area’s best bands and musicians. Once again they’ll be teaming up with the Artist & Maker Market, so you can shop vintage vendors straight from the plaza. Wednesday’s bands and vendors are listed here. Groove on Grove will run every Wednesday through September.

Enjoy a jazzy brunch at Harborside (Wednesday)
The Jazz at Harborside series returns today with Bruce Williams, a jazz saxophonist who hails from Washington, D.C. He’ll be playing from 11:30am till 1pm.

Cinco de Kamayan Night at Talde (Thursday)
This month’s all-you-can-eat Filipino fest will have a South of the Border flair as Talde celebrates Cinco de Kayaman with a Mexican-inspired take on Filipino food. Talde’s Kamayan Night is a communal, family style dinner eaten with your hands. Tickets are $75/pp for all you can eat food and drink (Talde’s Calamansi margarita).

Jersey City Reservoir Buffet Dinner (Thursday)
The Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance is starting its spring season with a buffet-style dinner at VaibhaV Indian Restaurant (formerly Casa Dante). There will be a 50/50 raffle, swag, and other events. Tickets are $65/pp and all proceeds go toward the preservation of Reservoir #3.

Star Wars Cantina Party at FM (Friday)
It’s May 4 and FM is celebrating with a Star Wars-themed dance party. Dress up as your favorite Jedi or Wookie and dance the night away — without having to travel to a galaxy far, far away. A portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Liberty Humane Society.

Two glasses, one grape (Friday)
Wine down with CoolVines’ free Friday class where you’ll taste two different styles of wine made with the same grape.

Beer release at Departed Soles (Friday)
Departed Soles is releasing a new beer today. Hose Play IPA is a mixture of old school pine, with new school fruit.

Feel Good Fridays (Friday)
Start your weekend with Grove Plaza’s Feel Good Fridays — an evening of music, food, shopping, and vinyl right outside the Grove Path Station.
