From a free cocktail class at Rivewview Wine to Midnight Market’s 3-year anniversary party — here’s the best of what’s happening in Jersey City this week.

New Fall/Winter Menu at Cryo Cream

Heads up, Cryo Cream fans. Chef Matt Marotto has released a new fall/winter menu at Cryo Cream. (It includes this banana bread pudding ice cream). The shop is open Tuesdays to Sundays starting at 12pm.

Cocktail Class at Riverview Wine (Monday)

Ease yourself into the new work week with a free cocktail class at Riverview Wine. Cocktail 101 will be hosted by Louis Catizone of St. Agrestis Spirits alongside local bartenders Marc Figueiras (Dullboy), Kyle Nemick (Low Fidelity),  and Dillon Mafit (PS Wine Bar).

Cider Week at Würstbar (through Sunday)

Würstbar is once again participating in New York Cider Week. This year, Würstbar will celebrate Cider Week with special sausage, cheese, and cider pairings. (The pairings will feature cheeses from neighboring Van Hook Cheese). Würstbar is the only NJ bar participating in Cider Week. It runs through Sunday.

Crossroad Brewing Launches in New Jersey (Wednesday)

New York’s Crossroad Brewing is celebrating its New Jersey launch at Barcade tonight. To kick off their Garden State debut, they’ll be serving up Outrage IPA, New Normal NEIPA, Black Rock Stout, Brick Row Amber, and more.

Modern Dance Festival at Loew’s Theater (Wednesday)

The 10th Annual Your Move Modern Dance Festival kicks off at the Loew’s Theater tonight. The fest is designed to support inventive choreographers from New Jersey, New York, and beyond. The show will highlight 13 choreographers over the span of five days. Tickets are $18 in advance or $25 at the door.

Liz Phair at White Eagle Hall (Thursday)

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Liz Phair will perform at White Eagle Hall tonight. Tickets start at $35.

Midnight Market 3-Year Anniversary & Season Closer (Friday)

Midnight Market is celebrating its 3-year anniversary with “Neon Night Market” — a black light foodie party. This also happens to be the final Midnight Market of the 2019 season, so show up with an appetite. For this event, MM is partnering with Salt Foundation (delivering food to shelters) and Kicks 4 the City (collecting new/gently worn shoes for the homeless). Tickets are $5/pp at the door if you get there from 6:30pm to 7:30pm or $10/pp general admission.
