Basile’s Pizza is now open in Jersey City. The eatery opened on August 12 by offering free slices throughout the day. The pizzeria is located at the foot of the Jersey City Pedestrian Plaza at 116 Newark Avenue.
When it comes to pizza, Basile’s is considered one of Hoboken’s top spots. Pizza lovers will be able to order a variety of pies at Basile’s Jersey City storefront. The menu includes mushroom pizza, white spinach pizza, grandma pizza, and classic Margherita pizzas. (Most pies go for $30). Basile’s also offers garlic knots and calzones.
However, the pizzeria will face stiff competition from the likes of Razza, Roman Nose, Porta, and Artichoke Pizza — all located within a few steps of each other. (Check out our guide to the best pizza in Jersey City for some of our favorite spots).
