One of our favorite Journal Square eateries has expanded to downtown. Falafel Station is now open inside the Oliva Marketplace in the Jersey City Pedestrian Plaza at 138 Newark Avenue. The eatery offers Middle Eastern/Mediterranean street food.
The menu gives you the option of choosing your falafel in a variety of ways including Italian/Rocket style (served in a hero), Mexican/Tortilla style (served in a tortilla), or served as a platter with yellow rice, salad, and pita on the side.
The downtown Falafel Station outpost is open 7 days a week.
