What: Liberty Science Center Debuts Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium
When: Saturday, December 9 from 11:15am
Where: 364 Marin Boulevard
Today the LSC will debut the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the Western hemisphere’s largest planetarium. It boasts a resolution of over 88 million pixels, can display over 281 trillion colors, and can pump out 30,000 watts of sound. The planetarium will open Saturday with a 45-minute signature show, Wonders of the Universe.

Where: Grove Street Plaza
Midnight Market and the Artist and Maker Market are teaming up to create a downtown winter village complete with an indoor heated tent. The shopping village will be located right at Grove Plaza and it’ll include local vendors selling art, jewelry, home accessories, clothing, and more just in time for the holidays. You can’t shop on an empty stomach so Midnight Market is flexing its foodie muscle and bringing vendors such as Eemas Cuisine, Moffle Bar, C Bao Asian Buns and Bubble Tea, Canteen Desi Dhaba, Sisig City, Baking Mama, Angry Archie’s, Stella’s Empanadas & Argentine Grill, L’atelier du Chocolat, and Waffle de Lys. Plus, you’ll be able to warm yourself up with holiday cocktails by Left Bank Burger Bar, which will be serving up a special holiday coquito.

Where: Gallo Center at Lincoln Park

Where: Harborside Atrium
Mack-Cali and JC Families are turning the Harborside Atrium into a winter wonderland the whole family can enjoy. The festivities begin at 3pm with keyboard performances, magic shows, dance performances, a kids’ fashion show, and much more. The event is free for all to attend.
