What: Hungarian Wine Tasting at CoolVines Powerhouse
When: Friday, April 19 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: 350 Warren Street
There’s more to European wines than France, Spain, and Italy. Discover the wines of Hungary during CoolVines’ Hungarian Wine Tasting. (Powerhouse location only). Athena Bochanis, owner and founder of Palinkerie / Fine Hungarian Imports, will be on site to lead the tasting. If you’re more of a beer person, head back Saturday night for a lager tasting (from 5pm to 7pm at both the Grove and Powerhouse locations)

What: Surf & Turf Barbecue Fest at Zeppelin Hall
When: through Sunday, April 21
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall’s Surf & Turf Barbecue Fest comes to an end this Sunday. Head to the biergarten for your last chance to feast on BBQ Jumbo Shrimp, bone-in short ribs with lobster, smoked salmon (pictured), and Bacon Popped Popcorn.

What: Jersey City Challenge Race 2019
When: Saturday, April 20 from 8:30am
Where: 1 Exchange Place
Show off your inner gladiator skills at the Jersey City Challenge Race. The race is an obstacle course that stretches across the Jersey City waterfront. Jump, slide, climb, or crawl your way through military tires, police barricades, balance beams, or solid walls. (You can check out the full list of obstacles here). Online registration ends tonight at 11:59pm. On site registration will be allowed Saturday morning for $100/pp. After you’ve finished the race, head to Piggyback Bar for the after party.

What: Pizza Party at Razza
When: Saturday, April 20 from 2pm
Where: 275 Grove Street
Unlimited pizza and copious amounts of wine?  Sign us up! Join cookbook author Katie Parla, acclaimed chef/baker Pam Yung, and Dan Richer of Razza for a pizza party celebrating Katie’s new cookbook — Food of the Italian South. Tickets are $75/pp and include unlimited pizza (!), wine, and a copy of Katie’s book. (Pictured is Razza’s “Farm Pie” with asparagus tips, ricotta, mozzarella, and lemon).

What: Easter Sunday Brunch at Battello
When: Sunday, April 21 from 10:30am
Where: 502 Washington Boulevard
Battello is offering Easter brunch and dinner options for the entire family this Sunday. Brunch (10:30am to 3:15pm) options include a buffet or 2-course prix fixe menu. Dinner (5pm to 8:30pm) consists of a 3-course prix fixe menu. You can check out the Easter Sunday menus here. Reservations are strongly required.
