Jersey City’s Segunda Quimbamba and Spirit of Life Jazz Ensemble are hosting a benefit concert for Puerto Rico. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door.

When: Sunday, November 11 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: Hyatt Regency at 2 Exchange Place

Where: 200 Hudson Street
Today is the start of “Pig & Khao Sunday” at Piggyback Bar. Chef/owner Leah Cohen will bring one classic dish from her Lower East Side restaurant to Jersey City. Things kick off with Khao Soi (pictured) — a mix of red curry, coconut milk, chicken, egg noodles, pickled mustard greens, and red onions.
