What: Oyster & Beer Festival at Zeppelin Hall

Heads up, oyster lovers. Zeppelin Hall is celebrating Shucktoberfest and offering Blue Point, Raspberry Point, and Malpeque Oysters for just $1.50/each. Shucktoberfest ends on Sunday. Plus, Saturday night is Zeppelin’s Halloween Party. The top costume of the night gets a $1,000 cash prize.

What: The Lost Boys at Loew’s Theatre

Where: 54 Journal Square Plaza
It’s been over 32 years since The Lost Boys debuted in theaters and to this day it remains a classic. Re-watch (or watch for the first time) director Joel Schumacher’s horror classic on the Loew’s 50-foot screen. Admission is $8 for adults.

What: Manny’s District Lounge

Where: 210 Harborside
Manny’s District is a new cocktail bar located next to District Kitchen. Try one of their 11 signature cocktails as you play ping pong, foosball, or pool. The lounge — which just opened on Wednesday — will be open this Friday and Saturday evening as well.

Where: J. Owen Grundy Pier
Tonight is the fourth and last PierFest concert of the season. Head to J. Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place to hear a free performance by Victor Santos Y Ocho Con Clave (6pm) and the Yellow House Orchestra (7:30pm).

What: 2nd Annual Bergen Apple Festival

Where: Bergen Ave & Academy
The 2nd Annual Bergen Apple Fest kicks off this Saturday with a walking tour of the Apple Tree House and an apple pie/dessert contest (you’ll get to sample pies, cobblers, tarts, and more). The event is free to the public.

What: Night of the Living Dead Movie & Masquerade Party at Loew’s

Where: 54 Journal Square Plaza
Catch George Romero’s original zombie classic — Night of the Living Dead — at the Loew’s Theatre tonight. Then stick around after the movie for the Loew’s Halloween Masquerade at the Grand Lobby. Tickers are $16 in advance or $20 at the door. Plus, the party is BYOB! (You can’t drink during the movie though). On a side note, the Loew’s will also screen Hold That Ghost with Abbot & Costello at 5pm.

The Riverview Farmer’s Market is closing its 2019 season with its annual Day of the Dead celebration and puppet parade. The festivities will include a mariachi band, dog costume contest, and more.

Dullboy is hosting its monthly Sunday Tea Party this afternoon. The bar will serve its version of boozy English-style tea along with house-made punch and Dullboy-style bites. Admission is $45/pp (a party of at least two people is required to make reservations).
