What: Indie Movie Night at Corgi Spirits
When: Friday, April 30 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Corgi Spirits is screening two short, locally produced films tonight starting at 8pm. The Point of Dating (rom-com) and The Cover of Night are both directed by Nick Ranger. The movies will be screened inside the Corgi Spirits lounge. Admission is free.

What: Live Music w/ Brunch at Cafe Esme
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 12pm to 2pm
Where: 485 Marin Boulevard
Add some live music to your Saturday brunch courtesy of Cafe Esme. The cafe is resuming its live music brunches this afternoon. This weekend’s brunch will feature music by singer Michael Browne.

Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend. (Note, they recently tweaked the time so the live music starts and finishes later in the day). The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

What: Jersey City Ballroom Spring Spectacular Gala
When: Saturday, May 1 from 6:30pm
Where: 90 Fleet Street
The Jersey City Ballroom is hosting its Spring Spectacular Gala Saturday night. The gala will feature an entire evening of dance performances. Admission is $40/pp. Note that this will not be held at their studio, but instead at 90 Fleet Street in the Heights.

What: Battello: Live in the Lounge
When: Saturday, May 1 at 8pm
Where:
502 Washington Boulevard
Live in the Lounge is a 90-minute dinner accompanied by an intimate performance by a local musician. The 3-course dinner is limited to 40 people and will take place inside Battello’s spacious lounge. This Saturday, Battello will feature Gravy Train. Admission is $120/per person.

“Punch, brunch, and sinful fun” is the motto behind Dullboy’s new Punch Sundays. Head over to the bar — or patio — to enjoy brunch and their latest libations.

Where: 364 Grove Street
