Thursday Events
What: Walter Parks & Rob Curto at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, May 26 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Guitarist/singer Walter Parks and accordionist/singer Rob Curto will perform at The Parlour.

What: Comedy Show at Nucky’s Speakeasy
When: Thursday, March 24 from 7pm to 8:30pm
Where: 8 Erie Street
Come for the cocktails, stay for the laughs. Nucky’s will be hosting a comedy show Thursday evening. Admission is $10 for seats close to the stage or free if you wish to sit further back.

What: Movies on the Pier by Exchange Place Alliance
When: Friday, May 27 at sunset
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another season of Movies on the Pier. This Friday there will be a free screening of Disney’s Coco. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). What: Surf City reopens for 2022 season
When: Friday, May 27 from 4pm
Where: 1 Marin Boulevard
Waterfront bar and restaurant Surf City reopens today for its 2022 season. Enjoy lobster rolls, shrimp boils, burgers, and umbrella cocktails while taking in views of the Jersey City waterfront.

Reggae band The Brooklyners will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Admission is $10/pp. Proof of vaccination will be required.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, May 28 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: Ondo launches brunch menu
When: Saturday, May 28 from 11:30am to 2pm
Where: 3 Second Street
Newly opened Korean restaurant Ondo Jersey City is launching its new brunch menu today. Brunch will be served from 11:30am till 2pm and will include a bulgogi cream pasta, galbi-jjim bun, ribeye rice bowl, and more.

What: Sunday Runs with Four Fitness

Join Jersey City gym Four Fitness every Sunday at 8am for free J.City Sunday runs. The group will run from Four Fitness (667 Montgomery) to Exchange Place. Experiences and newbie runners are equally welcome.

Where: Manila Avenue (from 1st Street to 4th Street)
Get ready for some delicious Filipino food and entertainment during the 44th annual Santacruzan & Flores de Mayo Street Festival. The all-day street fest will include numerous vendors selling handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, artwork, toys, and more. There will live music throughout the day.
