What: Zeppelin Hall Food of Tulum Fest

Zeppelin Hall kicks off its international food tour today and the first stop is the cuisine of Tulum, Mexico. Zeppelin’s special Tulum menu includes Smoked Snapper Quesadilla, Elotes, Veggie Molcajete, Halibut & Shrimp Molcajete, and more. The Tulum menu will be available through August 18.

What: Jersey City Food Truck Festival at Urby
When: Friday, July 27 from 5pm to 11pm
Where: Urby Parking Lot at 200 Greene Street
Kick off your weekend with your favorite food trucks at the Jersey City Food Truck Festival. The event will include live music, games, and eats courtesy of Pizza Vita, Angry Archies (their delicious Angry Lobster Roll is pictured above), MozzArepas, Milk Sugar Love, House of Cupcakes, and more. Note that there is a $5/pp charge for admission (kids under 12 enter free).

What: Mars Madness at Liberty Science Center

Where: Liberty Science Center
On July 27, Mars will be the closest it’s ever been to Earth since 2003. (The event is called Mars opposition). Liberty Science Center is celebrating by breaking out its best telescopes so you can take a look at the Red Planet up close and personal.

New York’s Famous Food Market is back for another weekend in Jersey City. This weekend, the outdoor market will include Ani Ramen, Casa Cubana, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland, No Forks Given, and more.

What: Dinner with Musicians at Whealth Cafe
When: Saturday, July 28 from 7pm to 10pm
Where: Whealth Cafe at Journal Squared/615 Pavonia Avenue
Head to Whealth Cafe for a delicious farm-to-table dinner followed by a low-key musical performance. The BYOB, 3-course dinner is $55/pp.

Where: 140 Newark Avenue
Get ready for an LITM brunch like you’ve never experienced before. Suwanna Food is taking over the kitchen at LITM Sunday afternoon and offering your choice of a Thai-American brunch or dinner from the hours of 12pm to 10pm. There will also be Thai-inspired cocktails to help set the mood. (We tried Suwanna Food’s veggie pad thai and veggie empanadas — pictured above — at Project Market last month and both dishes were excellent! Though keep in mind they’ll likely have different dishes at LITM this Sunday.)
