Free froyo on a Friday? Sign us up! To celebrate its 5-year anniversary, Downtown Yogurt will be handing out free frozen yogurt with toppings this evening from the hours of 6pm to 7pm.

Highland Park’s Chef Tan is officially open in Newport. The restaurant is currently in soft open mode, but we can’t think of a better way to escape the cold weather than with a spicy Sichuan dish. The Newport location doesn’t have its own dedicated website yet, but you can check out the menu from the Highland Park outpost via the above link.

What: Lunar Mania
When: Sunday, January 20 from 9am to 1am
Where: Liberty Science Center
The Liberty Science Center is celebrating the total lunar eclipse with a variety of activities that start Sunday at 9am and run though Monday at 1am. There will be eclipse-themed shows at the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, lunar-themed cocktails (for adults), and plenty of telescopes for everyone to catch the first lunar eclipse since 2015.

What: Another Man’s Treasure Vintage Warehouse Sale
When: Sunday, January 20 from 11am to 6pm
Where: 195 New York Avenue
AMT is throwing its second warehouse sale this Sunday. The sale will include $5 accessories, 10$/$20/$30 vintage racks, and some free items (while supplies last). Shoppers will also get to preview some of AMT’s spring items before they hit the shop.
