Zeppelin Hall’s annual Bacon Festival kicks off tonight with a special menu dedicated to all things crispy and porky. For 2019, Chopped winner and executive chef Franco Robazetti has 22 bacon-themed entrees including Bacon Guac, Steakhouse Style Bacon, Bacon Lollipops, Bacon Empanadas, and more. Bacon Fest ends Sunday, January 27.

Pinkies up! It’s time to sip some fancy new cocktails. Corgi Spirits is breaking out its new winter menu this weekend with new cocktails made with their Very Merry Gin and other spirits such as their Pembroke Gin and Cardigan Whiskey.

What: Departed Soles Imperial Stout Release

New weekend, new brew release at Departed Soles. This Friday the brewery is releasing its first stout in quite awhile (since ModCup of Sole perhaps?). S’mo’nJoe Imperial Stout offers “aromatics of graham cracker, cinnamon, and nutmeg,” according to DS’ descrip. It’s well over 9% Alcohol by Volume and has a “touch of cocoa sweetness.”

Jersey City’s newest LGBTQ lounge is throwing its first major dance party tonight with Felipe Rose, founding member of The Village People. The dance party will be hosted by Hudson Pride CEO Michael Billy and proceeds will benefit Hudson Pride. Admission is $10/pp.
