Food truck The Guac Spot has indefinitely closed. The family-run truck was known for its avocado-driven menu that offered guacamole in a variety of traditional (tacos, burritos) and non-traditional (cookies, cannolis) ways.
“We have given our all to this business but balancing our family, covid impacts on our industry & staffing, being displaced from our home after a fire and the extraordinary circumstances of the world right now while working long hard days in the restaurant has proved more than our little family can handle right now,” reads their Instagram post.
Although they were a Verona-based food truck, The Guac Spot was a popular vendor at Jersey City events such as Midnight Market and LSC After Dark.
