Teazzi Tea Shop is coming to Jersey City. The small chain — which has storefronts in New York, Boston, and Las Vegas — will open at 153 Morgan Street in the city’s Powerhouse Arts District.
The cafe specializes in boba or bubble tea, which is a tea-based drink from Taiwan. The drink is usually made by mixing a tea base with milk and then adding chewy tapioca balls. Teazzi’s signature drinks include honey amber oolong milk tea, taro latte, brown sugar tapioca latte, and strawberry four seasons milk tea. (You can check out their full menu online). The shop will also offer a variety of oolong teas and green teas.
Teazzi joins a wide selection of boba tea cafes in Jersey City. The list includes Gong Cha, A-Yo Bubble Tea, Moge Tee, and Meet Fresh. There’s no official opening date at the moment, but you can follow them on Instagram for updates.
